Our History
A Church Born from the Land
Back Creek Fellowship Church is located at 11707 Back Creek Rd. in Bishopville, MD — a community rooted in the rhythms of rural Maryland life. From its earliest days, this congregation has been a place where neighbors gather, families grow in faith, and the doors are always open.
Through the decades, the congregation has grown alongside the community — through seasons of change and seasons of steadiness — always anchored by a shared commitment to the Gospel and to one another.
Today, under the leadership of Pastor Paul Sherwood, Back Creek Fellowship Church remains what it has always been: a place where the welcome is genuine, the worship is heartfelt, and every person who walks through the door matters.
